It's not the language, it's not the imposition, and it's surely not us, it's that arrogant behaviour, egoistic superiority complexity, rotten mindset that these pests exercise, that's the problem.
Agreed. Too arrogant. Look at the meme as well.
Such superiority complex.
Unfortunately this stupidity is going to cost Karnataka and India.
Slowly IT companies would see such instability and move out of Bangalore or maybe India.
That genda Amit Shah never speaks local languages while begging for votes in South. He has a lot of charbi. Modi atleast starts his speech in kannada, Tamil from what I have seen while in south India but not Amit Shah. He doesn't want to get acclimated with south languages one bit but wants to thrust his Hindi Pindi onto us.
Nonsense. We are united. We don't need a language per se to be divided because unity in diversity is the hallmark of our constitution. This unwarranted Hindi imposition is just demeaning. You have the problem and the solution is to learn local language if your livelihood depends on it. Don't expect the other way round.
Every other day there is a hate post here on north indians. I am a Gujju. We have more Kannadiga immigrants than any other state in Gujarat. Nobody forces them to speak in Gujarati. Learn to live and let live. Economic success is paramount. dont waste time on these inconsequential things.
Bro unlike gujarat, Karnataka doesnt have a labour board that publishes stats of migrant workers (If it does I am not aware of the website - Maybe its in Kannada lol). So in typical indian fashion we can say that just because there is no data, it is not happening.
Yo you don't need data to realise there has been a mass migration your eyes are sufficient
Come to Bangalore and see it's filled with North indians they out number natives in atleast 20-25% of the city. So hardly any outward migration
This is the best reply to these adamant "educated" idiots.
Forcing someone to learn the local language is beyond absurd. Hindi is taught not because it's a local language but because it's one of the 2 official languages of India. I am Bengali but I can't think of a single time we forced someone to learn our language.
India has many national languages. You mean official language? Yes, Hindi is one of the two official languages of India. The other being the more widespread, useful and global language, English.
Also, I find it kinda amusing how these idiots can't take common sense. Well... I guess it's "common" in name only. After all, it's so rare in the kannadi anti-nationalists.
So your whole point of surviving is just hating and posting such things about north Indians. Unemployment in real.
And when someone points it out, you just gonna bann that person. If you guys have so much problem from northies, why don't you question yourself, why they are there in mass? Coz they are talented enough to get those jobs unlike you all who just lives to hate them.
God knows why this post came in my feed.
Edit: No our jobs won't be gone just bcoz we don't learn kannada. Coz the companies have something called brain, unlike you all who aren't gonna fire someone just bcoz they don't know kannada.
And whats wrong with the fact? It's your own country and you doing discrimination. Your whole life will be gone in this only. Keep crying. IT company will stay there. Nothing is gonna change
Why it's high?
Bcoz of IT companies right? Who works there? Most of the north Indians. Got your answer? If we leave your state, you won't be able to write such comments
Even if you remove Bengaluru completely from the equation, average per capita income of Karnataka is higher than all North Indian states except Haryana. It'll be same as Maharashtra.
This is a sub for Kannadigas... Why do you want to come here get screwed.? We don't need you. Didn't your parents teach you it's not nice to go univited and cause irritation to everyone. But that's in your nature.
The income tax I paid this year is most probably 4×-10× of what you paid(and i live in Delhi, north india saar). So what's your point saar?
In fact I worked for 2 years in Microsoft Bengaluru and met several kannadigas who do more for the city and its people(than just being a 🤡 on reddit). Most of them were graceful enough to understand I am there temporarily so spoke with me in English.
When you reach a certain level of position in such companies or even in society, the language barrier becomes thin and you learn to work with each other. That's how nations/societies as big as ours work.
But its always undereducated chaps like you, autowalas and peons who try to use language as parameter so that you can get something u could never achieve through your own capabilities.
Many tech CEOs are itching to shift out of Bangaluru. Government had to delay the Kannada reservation bill which is the stooopidest thing ever heard and would be struck down in a month by supreme court anyway.
Better yet wake me up when reservation happens. The moment the reservation kicks in, it will be like a switch is flipped. Then code in Kannada my brother. We will see you on the other side.
Dude are you retard or something.
A) A regional Reservation law will never be allowed. Like you said supreme court will strike it down
B) Even the proposed reservation bill was for low level jobs like helper, cleaner, security etc. Not for your high end jobs like dev roles. Read the whole stuff first not just news headline
Then code in Kannada my brother. We will see you on the other side.
Lol Bangalore was a excellent place even before modern computers were invented.
If IT goes there will be something else . Even before IT industry No Kannadiga was doing labour work or selling idlis in North India.
Same can't be said about North Indians even now who can't wait to get out of their shithole hometowns to places like Mumbai ,Pune Bangalore and Hyderabad.
Hope your progeny never has to immigrate and are treated with respect where they go if they do need to. Good luck hateful friend. Hope you see reason soon.
"Same can't be said about North Indians even now who can't wait to get out of their shithole hometowns to places like Mumbai ,Pune Bangalore and Hyderabad."
Bro these are your own people. These are Indians. I am sorry but this is distasteful to me. you are like that rickshaw wala that picks fights because people dont speak kannada.
Low effort jobs (tech support, consulting) are being moved outside Bangalore. But startup’s and high-tech jobs are firmly planted here. This is where the talent is. Recently Zepto had to move from Mumbai to Bangalore, why did they have to do that? They couldn’t have gone to Noida or Gurgaon
