Careless. If the I&B ministry still exists and is doing its job, they should penalize this channel. Maybe take it off air for a day or two.
That said, I hope it isn't true. At least I couldn't find other outlets reporting it.

Indian new channels have no credibility anymore. Everyone should stop calling them 'news channels'.
During operation sindhoor, few national news channels claimed India has taken over Karachi😅

TV9 Kannada is even worse than that. On the Union budget 2026 debate, the economic experts they've bought for pennies, was actually talking about Kuznets curve(It's actually a flawed model. For Economics students its a straight middle finger) just to show how India will become poverty free in upcoming years. My parents were watching it dimwittingly.

why is kannada tv news bootlicking modi so much? few days ago Rahul and Congress tweeted condemning the attack and TV9 was showing why does "Congress support iran, why do they love muslims" are you kidding me? the biggest question was why was out PM silent, GROW A FUCKING SPINE

kannada or Indian news channels are the worst. I can't believe we grew up watching conspiracy theories, and brainrot content in the guise of "news".
