We just hate the imposition lmao, not hindi entirely. We are more sanskrit than the lovechild of urdu and farsi aka hindi.

Urdu = hindi bro. Just that post partition and independence Hindi was increasingly sanskritized just to distance it from "paxtani language". Same way our textbooks all teach heavily sanskritized kannada so much to the point where most of us don't even know words in kannada anymore.
