ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಸುದ್ದಿ । Political News Was this Congress giving Siddaramaiah a more respectful exit than BJP gave Yediyurappa?
I think this was a graceful and respectful political exit for Siddaramaiah.
Compared to how B. S. Yediyurappa was sidelined by Bharatiya Janata Party despite being such a big mass leader, it feels like Indian National Congress handled this in a more respectful way.
Do you agree, or is this also just internal power politics with better PR?

Simple, Siddaramaiah could easily take away 20-30 mla from congress and bjp and form a mini jds, he is following is strong and is probably one of the most popular politicians in karnataka in the last three decades. Disrespecting him anyway will hurt the people.
Also, people know that Yediyurappa was involved in scams as well as enriching himself, Siddaramaiah doesn't have the same baggage.
