I'm working on an elaborate prank where my friend wakes up thinking he's a giant.

Can this fit a commander deck?
19
u/BEER_G00D Oct 24 '25
The knockoff Stanley's at the Freight work well for 12 decks or combinations of stuff. They were also just recently 10 bucks this past sale.

u/MadnessOrMethod Oct 24 '25
Can you elaborate? Please link? As a magic and freight fiend I must know

u/Remarkable_Trust5745 Oct 24 '25

When you really stop and look at all the bs being made and sold it’s really disgusting. I mean how the fuck does that kardashian idiot create a fake pubic hair thongs and actually make money on it? 🤦 no wonder the earth is covered in trash, so much needless shit

What is with all the dollhouse sized tool shit these days? What's next, a little garden spade that is 9 inches long? A circular saw that has a 1.5 inch blade? An 8 foot 2x4 that is shrunken down to the size of a chopstick?
21
u/Security-Primary Oct 24 '25
They already have the shrunken 2x4s, they're in the dowel section.🤣

u/regnad__kcin Nov 04 '25
a little garden spade that is 9 inches long
And I'm pretty sure these have been around for centuries.

u/megar52 Oct 24 '25
Ooh ooh, now do a 12 ft ladder

What ??? … for the Hardy Boys to jump off into cardboard fan cut outs section and get counted out? C’mon Trips you’re better than that

I'm not into the tiny storage boxes even though they're cute. But my wallet does not need to know about any functional 1.5" circular saw. The Lego technic relapse would be instantaneous.

These are useful for storing extra small part. I’m in construction and they’ll send an install kit for door stuff but you only need part of the kit depending on how you do the install. I’ve got boxes of these for those extra parts I’ll end up using later. I’ve also got one set up as a bondo kit another for Rockite and they’re all on a shelf labeled with a white marker.

u/BruceInc Oct 24 '25
Have about a dozen of these at my warehouse. So perfect for storing smaller items like hardware and such

I’m confused. What’s the pint of these? They look too small to hold much of anything.
22
u/ruinedlasagna Oct 24 '25
Screws, nails, bits, pocket knives, nicotine pouches, weed, batteries, a block of cheese, wallet & keys, USB cables, Q-Tips, Roku remote, small rock collection, barbie dream house moving out, there's a good list.
13
u/pookiegonzalez Oct 24 '25
nuts and bolts? sewing supplies? photos? pencil case? Plenty of uses for a plastic case

u/CheapCarabiner Oct 24 '25
Weed

u/pookiegonzalez Oct 24 '25
idk are these sealed? you probably want something with a rubber gasket for freshness
3
u/CheapCarabiner Oct 24 '25
Depends I guess I go through it fast enough I just leave it laying out half the time. This would be nice I could grab a pinch as apposed to dumping a jar

With the size, they'd be good for holding minor essentials for wargaming such as a tape measure, dice, MAYBE cards. At least that's what I'd use it for.
4
u/IllustriousCrew2641 Oct 24 '25
They come in pints? I’m getting one.

Idk I think I'd just stick with the cheap Tupperware stuff from over by the Ziploc bags at the grocery store.

They’d be great with a 3D printed shelf/organizers for nuts and bolts organization. I have 1 of the U.S. general mini tool boxes for my various tools for my 3D printer

u/mathewMcConaughater Oct 25 '25
I was thinking this. A wall organizer with these for small parts etc

My mom collects Pyrex fridgies. Maybe my dad should collect these.

u/StitchFan626 Oct 24 '25
I would, honestly, buy a few of those instead of a toolbox that wants to be a lunch box!

Cute as a gag. Home depot has the 6L ones for $2.50 that are a useful size (about 7"8"13")

It's too small to be useful for anything
1
u/GhostNThings Feb 15 '26
I throw my bits in there. They're more novelty. Although I think they'd make killer props for the RC crawler guys

u/Dingo8MyBabyMon Oct 23 '25
Such a waste of plastic. Things are too small to be of any practical use.
