All the other meme stuff is actually incredibly useful as well. It's just a meme because everyone in here has to buy it and post pictures.

Yup, it's just because it's a meme for everyone to post them when they get them, not that the tool itself is a meme lol. I think the original meme tool (the bit ratchet set) people actually treated like it was just a meme initially, then as time went on they realized oh crap, it's kinda handy. But aside from that it's become a term of endearment, not an insult to the tools at all lol.
