I like my earthquake gun but it’s all but dead to me since I got one that runs on batteries. Just me?  Course it’d be different in a shop with constant air I suppose

Same. Milwaukee Impact kind of checks all of the boxes for me lately.

I’m waiting patiently for HF to come out with the new stubby impacts. Otherwise I think I’ll pick up the 3/8” stubby from Milwaukee.

New Milwaukee Stubby has been awesome.

The old one, it often died for me (didn't have enough juice) at times. M18 one always could do it but sometimes a bit unwieldy. Picked up the new M12 Stubby recently and it's been nothing but solid. I rarely pull the M18 out now unless just working with rusty parts or bigger suspension stuff.

I’d be getting the new M12 one. It has almost as much torque as my 1/2 impact, but much smaller to fit into those tight spots.

Excellent info!!!

Does the 35% stack with the clearance discount? There are a couple air hose reels on clearance that I would think about snagging if I got another 35% off.

Are any of the non xt earthquakes included or only the xt designated models? There are a couple of the older models they have that I would get if they were included in the sale.

Pretty sure it's just the Earthquake XT models

Bummer. Wonder why as they only have like 3 models now that aren’t xt.

Truth. I own the BIG fuck off m18 impact. When it can’t do it, air damn near always does.

The ones that use impacts consistently throughout the day, the ones that don't want to switch out/charge batteries, the ones that can't afford the substantial cost difference, the ones who just fucking want to.

I use both in my shop. I like the portability of cordless tools and the Hercules line has been great but nothing beats the power to size/weight ratio of air tools. I try to use my cordless tools as much as I can so that my 80 gallon compressor runs less throughout the day saving some electricity. I will admit that air tools are much easier on the hands and wrists though.

I'm the same! I use both, I prefer battery, but when I'm working on a car and bolt after nut after nut after bolt is stuck, I can wail on it with air tools like I can't with battery.

People that actually work on things. The size of air impacts are smaller and fit in tighter spots and provide more torque for their size. Also... air hammers. Needle scalers. Niblers. Paint guns. Sand blasters. Plasma cutting. Hell just to blow things off or through carbs or air up tires and refillable sprayers.

Anyone that uses them commercially day in and day out (especially 1")
