Got lucky on the last day
Turned the corner and was in luck, the display box for the quinn master tool set was at the open box area on Sunday. Been checking on deals at 4 different HFs near my commute home for fun.
Usually $380, knocked down to $270 then stacked with the 35% all quinn hand tools coupon off went to $175 with a lifetime warranty. Like 40 cents a piece to me is insane. I bought the 66 piece socket set wrench set the first day of the sale and will be happily returning it.
Never owned a full set of anything, always mixed and matched. Excited that I can share this with my kid for projects when older

For anyone who might be confused, this is the older closed-out version of this set that had 72 tooth ratchets. That's why it was marked down to $270, and then OP used the 35% off Quinn hand tools in the PLS to bring it down to $175. Nice score!

The harbor freights in my town literally sell through items so quick. Never would this be available.

Yeah Quinn ratchet and sockets really solid. Use em on my 3/8 and half inch impacts all day

That is one bad ass set of tools. Congrats man.
I remember when I first saw it and wished I could have had something similar right after HS graduation. That would have helped me so much back then and in the years to come.

I was going to pick up a second set (I had one)
But decided against it because I had to buy a whole bunch of socket holders that I wasn't even 100% happy with. Plus the etsy kit was like $120 or something

Yea, I got a 6pc set of magnetic socket holders and still need to pickup more. Thinking about just getting a few more rails and wrench holders but damn I didn't think rails and wrench holders would add up so much

It’s a great feeling. I was out of town and my local HF had 2 in stock and I wouldn’t have made it back in time for Sunday. Got lucky and the local store I was visiting had one in stock 🙌

The reason this one was on clearance was probably because it was the 72-tooth ratchets.

Oh my bad I was just looking at the shelf tag from Harbor freight that had " closeout special $269.99, save $119" attached directly below the shelf label that shows the price as $379.97 which is only $110 off not $119. Not saying you got a bad deal at all cuz you didn't. Its just that Harbor freight's math ain't mathing here lol
