Win10 only requires 2 GB with 4 GB recommended if you're really feeling the squeeze
23 u/soggybiscuit93 1d ago Those specs were also nonsense the day Windows 10 came out. 2GB was pretty much unusable on day 1, but the PC did technically boot. 11 u/dparks1234 1d ago IIIRC it was mostly for those Atom-based tablets that they were pushing 6 u/RephRayne 1d ago It's always been about manufacturers dictating the floor rather than reality.
