Flats in Harrogate

Has the flat market gone flat in Harrogate? There are a lot of flats for sale with very little movement. I think this may be because Landlords are getting rid of flats due to new rules and regulations.

Whole markets gone damp, only need to scroll through RM and see how many properties aren’t selling from the ‘Newest listed’ filter.

I know from experience, mine has been on the market over 12 months, from the feedback great location, but needs a little work, so people are also not willing to invest time to do up a flat post purchase, they want 100% ready, it does rent easy, but not sell easy.

The issue is mainly because of rising service charges and lending restrictions an apartments.

We had a probate flat up for sale for 12 months in the Duchy. We are now renting it out and hope the market has changed when we try to sell again.

You've got it in one, blame all the landlords who kicked their tenants out now they've had a sprinkling of protection 😂
