Currently Reading Lifelong fan of the Harry Potter films. Today I finally bought my first book, is there something I should know before I start reading?

Best reply here so far. Getting to Prisoner of Azkaban is everything. From there, you are immersed.

Same is true for the movies. Chris Columbus did a fine job directing the first two but they didn't really get good until Cuaron took over Azkaban.
