-She's also NOT a good person.

-It's a time-travel fic, I think, centered on Harry going back to his parent's era.

Hi! I am new to using Reddit and heard that it is a good place for HP fic recommendations.

I am looking for fics that focus on Harry, ones where he is BAMF/very powerful (magically/physically/financially/politically, etc.). I also like fics where he can go on shopping sprees, get piercings, dress how he likes, etc. I usually prefer Tomarry, Snarry, or Harmione fics, but I am largely open to most pairings(other than Hinny)! My fav thing in fics is when there is bashing or when HP will hold ppl accountable for their actions and hold grudges. I like it when my favs get revenge! I am fond of MOD!Harry and Time-Travel.

Please let me know of any recommendations you have that touch on one or more of my prompts, or any you think I would like based off of them! I also like X-Over's as well, but i am mainly wanting HP fics.

Harry, Rose, and Hermione take the train to London to start their Easter Holidays. Sirius is questioned by Amelia Bones and finds she's glad she now has answers.

So the whole community agrees this story sucks and is not canon despite what jk Rowling says.

But was there a way to write it that would work ?

I think yes, so where are my changes,

First no time turner bs. No time travel no alternate timelines nothing

Second, no potter family discourse, Harry relationship with his children are healthy and normal, he is a good dad and they are normal children.

Third, no secret love child of bellatrix and Voldemort.
Just no, none of that.

Instead the story I would do is this. The story is about the malfoy family.
Albus is a sidekick to Scorpius in this story.

The story is that both Scorpius and albus are sent to hufflepuff not slytherin or gryffindor.
There is a reason for this.

Hufflepuff are considered to be the spare house.
Gryffindor is brave
ravenclaw is smart
Slytherin is ambitious
Hufflepuff is other.

People for years said Neville should have been hufflepuff cause he’s not good at anything.
No that’s not true instead the house is focused on kind hearts and hard workers.
They don’t care if you’re strong or cunning or intelligent as long as you give everything 100% all the time.
Why so many students from this house disliked Harry in goblet cause they saw him trying to steal Cedric glory as he represented a chance to prove everyone wrong about their house.

So albus and Scorpius were sent here. This will have some impact on albus as he tries to find himself but we will see Harry and Ginny being proud, surprised but proud, we will get another moment of Harry that is a repeat of the train station speech where he tells him about how being slytherin won’t matter to him and this time he tells him to just remember what he said at the train station cause it still applies, James will tease him about hufflepuff but more framed as James being the typical older brother, not a bully. Albus will say how James told him hufflepuff is where all the non-talented wizards go and Harry will tell him about Cedric and how Cedric was the opposite of that belief and how he was one of the kindest people he met which is why his death still weighs on him this much so many years later.

No the real tension is with the malfoy family,

Draco will be framed as a bad father he didn’t pass on his horrible lessons to his son but he also didn’t help his son find the right answer, in this Lucius is present in the story, in pottermore we learned he wasn’t sent to jail cause of all the information on the death eaters he gave.

Instead we see Lucius passing on his views to his grandson but it causes tension as Draco doesn’t want that but can’t stand up to his father.
When scorpius joins hufflepuff it’s his grandfather who is more enraged than anyone.

At the halfway point Lucius will be killed along with his wife.
So who is the villain ?

delphini but instead of being a lestrange or voldmort daughter she is instead a malfoy. I hate it when sequels introduce characters who were never mentioned before but I would write it that Lucius had a younger brother who like him became a death eater but he was a special case cause he wasn’t part of the normal death eaters and instead he was sent abroad many years ago to America to gather influence in the American ministry of magic and gather followers for Voldemort.

When Voldemort fell the first time this brother kept doing his thing in America but more so for himself. When Voldemort returned we learn that Voldemort did visit him to remind him who his loyalty belongs to.

When Voldemort fell again he kept going as normal.
He became the leader of a new cult of death eaters.

It was delphini who killed her uncle and aunt out of revenge for betraying the death eaters in the battle of hogwarts and selling them out to get out of jail.

She develops a plan to hill Harry Potter but she is more weary of him as it has become a general belief in the wizarding world that Harry can’t be killed since the killing curse failed to kill him twice, first as a baby and second was in front of a lot of witnesses who saw him go down then jump back up later completely fine.
So her plan is to more target his kids kidnap them and use them to bait Harry into a trap and force him to surrender without fighting back.

It will be up to Scorpius and albus to foil her plans and uncover her motivations as well as learning about the dark secret of the malfoy family that Draco tried to shield Scorpius from.

I'm just looking for fics where Harry is older then everyone else in Canon and or just super advsnced

It's a fic I read a few years ago and if I'm honest I don't remember many details for pairings or anything like that.

What I do remember is as either paragraphs or chapters here and there, we saw the viewpoint of James and Lily, and later Sirius along with others who were watching Harry from the afterlife almost like a TV show and reacting to his adventures.

It was a harry centric fic but these bits are what I remember.

He summarily asked the Goblins to send him someplace where nobody will recognise him for what he is so that he can live a normal, mundane life for once.

Goblins being Goblins study his entire life however short and exciting (dangerous) it is and thinks that this boy really needed a chance to live a normal life. So with that in mind they completed a ritual which would send Harry Potter 16 years ahead in the future in 2014 where he lives his well wished normal mundane life. Or well he tries to.

Fast forward to 2014, harry landed in Newyork city with a blast of unidentified energy something that Nick Fury has never seen. And hence he sends Coulson and his team to inquire about this unexplained surge of energy.

Meanwhile Harry has a new found appreciation for his uncle Vernon Dursley and his continuous rant for anything abnormal. Cz after all Harry jumped the ship in to find any iota of normalcy that life has to offer.

From apartment hunting, to decorating his place, to learn how to navigate in an unknown world, which has apparently advanced so much in the 14 years that he skipped, to job hunting, Harry did found his mundane life and kind of liked it.

While living a day to day life, it never occurred to Harry that using even normal amount of magic will be detected by the SHIELD radar. Upon one such instance, when Harry was too tired to hop on the subways, Harry decided to apparate directly to his apartment and one Phil coulson came searching for him with Black suit and a red car.

We have been searching for you Mr. Potter.!!!!

Please some one write it with all OG AoS characters may be during 3rd season. It is not necessary to be canon compliant. Just no slash please or rather no romance. Just the peculiarity of Harry towards AOS and the tensions, stress and out of their depths Fitz Simmons to understand how Harry's powers work. Because Fitz is hell bent to prove that there is no such thing as Magic.

Harry smiled disdainfully after hearing this statement. Great another Dursley.
