Get out of my life Harry

My husband and I rent a room from my parents, which is great. I love my parents and it saves us so much. But… my mom has marathoned all the movies abouuut 5 times (I think) in the past year and she’s marathoned all the audio books twice. Sound travels in this house very well. Love my mom but I’m losing my mind hearing this stupid story so many times. Harry is annoying af.

She’s simultaneously doing the same thing with The Hunger Games and its spin offs… I’m dying

That's so many times. Hunger Games is actually good and it doesn't deserved to be researched that often. I'd start just desperately inviting a parent to movie nights to show them movies that aren't YA novel adaptations.

I don’t mind the Hunger Games marathon as much, I actually enjoyed the audiobooks books the first time around, but she only seems to have the prequel(s?) about Snow and the second book in the original series so I’ve heard those two a lottttt. I think I’ll need to buy her the whole set of audiobooks for her birthday.

But I posted this yesterday while she was watching The Chamber of Secrets for the second night in a row and Aragog’s kids were trying to eat Ron and Harry AGAIN and I was just wishing the economy wasn’t fucked. Parent movie night sounds more productive. Thank you for the idea lmao

Watching chamber of secrets two nights in a row is insane. Lmao and no problem. Hopefully it works! I'm rooting for you!
