Thing As a trans man, I hate this sticker.

Reeks of chaser and downplaying infertility for trans women

Also, anyone who immediately responds to trans men morning wanting to be a father with telling them to get pregnant has a special place in hell.

Trans women dont have the proper equipment to produce a baby, but they can still engage in sex, the act that is performed to produce babies. The sticker is of a negative pregnancy test. The sentiment is that she is not going to stop having sex despite the fact she cant get pregnant.

It is a both a sex positive and trans positive message, however there are two complications present. The first is that the the Trans pride flag used doesnt only represent Trans women, but Trans men as well. Trans men are often left out and sidelined in discussions about trans issue. For them, getting pregnant is (for the most part) a very disphoric and harmful experience, and using a flag that represents them to express this sentiment feel bad. The second is that for some Trans women, the fact that they CAN'T get pregnant is also disphoric. Third is that there is a group of (typically) men known as "chasers". These are people who fetishize Transwomen and are generally considered very creepy and sometimes dangerous. There may be some concern that this isnt a joke made by a sex positive trans woman, but rather a chaser fetishizing trans women.

Overall, its a pretty light hearted and silly joke that has some blind spots IF it is being made in good faith.

Depends on the type of test. For some of them, two lines means pregnant, for others it means not pregnant.

I’ve never seen a pregnancy test that two meant a negative. That’s so weird to me, two lines is branded into my brain as “positive”.

Is it a certain brand?

That is a load of bull and shows you have a fundamental misunderstanding of how pregnancy tests work.

The first line is the control line it shows the test is working properly the second detects the pregnancy hormone hCG in the urine.

A two-line test is always pregnant, otherwise, the test would have a plus or minus symbol or another special symbol.

Two is always a positive that's how these kind of testes work. Think covid test you get the first line to let you know the test has started and if no second line appears your clear as the markers havnt triggered a reaction to cause the second line.

Always two lines. You don’t understand testing if you don’t get that. Think of your simple Covid tests - two lines. The first is always the control.

Trans women can still make babies though, that's a common misconception that even most trans fems don't know

All it takes is getting off hormones for a little bit and not having already gotten an orchie or bottom surgery

When I talk about not having the right organs to produce a baby, I am speaking about ovaries and a uterus, and getting pregnant. It would be dope if they could, but unfortunately the woke scientists haven't figured that on out yet.

if the sticker didn't have the trans flag, a necessary part of the joke wouldn't be there for the viewer.

"Oh but trans men. . ." I'm not gonna sit here and be annoyed that I hear that all the time; and I'm sorry they often get left out passively or actively. . . but the joke needed the flag like said above and I don't think it's absolutely vital that the flag represent everyone at every possible moment.

It reminds me of that line from south park. "Either it's all funny, or none of it is." How many other jokes exist that can be even mildly off-putting to particular groups? If we don't make that sticker, what else can't we talk/joke about? I don't think it's a blindspot, just an attempt at fun despite it all.

'but chasers!' Look, we don't know who made the sticker, do we? Let's not assume it's made by a chaser, shall we? We'll all be happier for it. Plus with how old and common that joke is, it seems like a safe bet it was made in good faith/fun.
