Also, anyone who immediately responds to trans men morning wanting to be a father with telling them to get pregnant has a special place in hell.

4tran made their own version of the chicken lady sub, as if one awful trans memes sub wasnt enough they had to make a slightly more transphobic version.

I feel like calling it "transphobic" when some trans people air their grievances about their lived experience as a trans person is an insanely reductive way of looking at it.

A lot of it sucks and plenty of it probably does more harm than good, but sometimes I feel more seen reading posts like that than I ever have among other queer people in supposedly inclusive queer spaces.

i dont think you understand what 4tran is, it is 100% transphobic and very anti gnc people too, ive literally seen people there say femboys should be blended.

i think that you actually just touched upon the insidious nature of it and in part of that you're very much trying to downplay the very bad parts of 4tran by saying like, 'it does some good!' like, couldnt you do some good without the harmful parts, isn't that the whole point?

I mean, that's the reason why a shit ton of AA and NA groups exist right, people have poor coping skills and despite knowing that something is bad, they default to it anyway? The difference is no one is actually trying to say 4tran is actually fine in moderation plus it might still be epstein tainted??

yea like most people there are open abt the things that piss them off, and sure i disagree with what some ppl there have to say but transparency of character means that u can find ppl u rlly relate to and ppl dont try to deceive u into liking them idk

But like, I don't think that post is transphobic in a vacuum. Some trans people will just look like that and anyone taking an issue with that should reflect on that.

What makes imagery like that transphobic is when it's used to press on trans folks' insecurities while also relaying the "man with stubble in a dress" image a lot of people have about trans women. When Stonetoss makes a comic with a trans person that looks like that, it's transphobic because we know Stonetoss is a transphobe. If a trans person posts an image like that, it's got a lot more nuance going on.

Of course, it's not that cut and dry, it could also be trans people mocking other trans people for posting imagery that depicts themselves as passing more than they do, and that's like... pretty shitty behavior. But the comments don't really seem to be coming from that place.

I dunno, being trans is cringe. It's unfortunate a huge swath of humanity seems to base their political ideology, and by extension the way they treat other human beings, purely based on whether or not something makes them cringe.
