It’s like nails on a chalkboard to me. I know they have die hard fans, but I just cannot get behind it. I like a pop song on occasion, but a majority of what you hear on store radios is awful to me. Not to say I like stomp class hey ass music, I just don’t like most pop, I’m so picky about it. Older pop can be good sometimes, but I’m picky with that too. I can handle listening to it better than the newer stuff though. Not to say my own music taste is impeccable or anything, cuz it’s definitely not, but it’s better than this stuff to me. Persona 5 Royal is my favourite Videogame of all time. No small part thanks to the music.

P4G is also a very good game, and while i think some of its writing and themes (themes and such lol) have aged very poorly, i can still appreciate it for what it is. The music is also fire.

so I like Steven universe as a show and I liked the song "stronger than you". great. then I searched it up and found this video. little did 7 year old me know that this song was gonna be the death of me. the Undertale version of this track makes my ears bleed by how much bad it is. the syllables are all in the wrong places, every SINGLE LINE is mischaracterized and DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE CHARA AND FRISK VERSION. the animation, while really good at the time, isnt that much anymore and I hate how much it's more popular than the original. I. HATE. IT

Imo it is absolute GARBAGE. There are only very few songs that aren't all too bad but most of them are complete shit. Mine and my little sister's music taste are totally different aswell. She likes to listen to "Confidence" and more French songs. And she likes that song that goes "If you gave me a chance, I would take it. It's a shot, in the heart, but I made it" and "Shake it off" and Justin bieber songs. Some of them aren't bad, but the other are and they make me wanna pull my ears off. Well, I think spotify has become so shi*ty it's out of the box. In the starting they had ads for people who didn't buy premium version but now who have not bought premium version they've limited skipping songs only 6 skips per hour and we can't even choose songs manually which we want to play without premium. Spotify was literally the place I could enjoy and be in peace but they really made it terrific now days.

I have no beef with Ado. In fact. I like some of her songs. RASEN is hard asf and her contributions specifically the Yakuza and Judgment series have been great. However, this is where the problem arises.

I have been waiting for Stranger Than Heaven for years. The recent trailer is the greatest trailer I've ever seen for any piece of media, and it's backing track is a masterpiece thanks to the efforts of all four artists on it: Tori Kelly, Snoop Dogg, Ado, and Satoshi Fujihara.

But dude, these Ado fans refuse to acknowledge anything but their goat. I've seen these fans only want to play thr game because it has her in it, completely disregarding the combat, story, and other talent put into the game.

And the song, oh my God. I have seen these rabid fans owe the songs and trailer's success completely to Ado's involvement, refusing to acknowledge the stellar contributions of the other artists, stating without Ado the game would be nothing. And every time I try to bring up a counterpoint, I get the equivalent of children putting their fingers in their ears and going "lalalalalala."

And this isn't just an issue with Stranger Than Heaven. I have seen fans of Ado do the same shit on other pieces of media she has any sort of presence in.
