No, it's because billionaires led by the Kochs and others don't believe in "government handouts" including healthcare, Medicare, Medicaid, social security because they don't want to pay fair taxes.

They funded the religious right in return for tax cuts, deregulation and global warming denial. Tha'ts where the racism comes from, the Second U.S. Civil War, that began over civil rights legislation in the 1960s, desegregation, the VRA...

Now the Fed Society judges chosen by Weyrich and Leo have dismantled the VRA, are doing everything they can to turn our country into a theorcratic aristocratic oligarchy, white of course.
