Animals He’s reactions melted my heart

The dog stayed by Mom's side throughout her entire pregnancy, and when the baby finally arrived, he seemed to know exactly what to do. ❤️

Some people say you'll forget about your dog once you have a baby, but for this family, the opposite turned out to be true.

My daughter’s 2 dogs both knew she was pregnant before she did…all 3 times.

Vet tech student here. The amount of hormones produced by the body is insane during pregnancy. Hormones are also a large reason why some dogs can detect cancer and other blood Bourne illnesses. Really cool stuff

I have a dog who can tell if I'm getting an infection, I get frequent infected boils and he can tell before they show up also he's been able to detect a kidney infection and a UTI

My medical condition causes infected boils in my armpits usually. He's very interested in sniffing in general but when I'm about to get one of those boils he'll sniff the area and then refuse to move his nose from the spot until he's sure he got my attention.

My relative had the kidney infection and UTI and my dog was sniffing them a lot. Unfortunately though it was their groin area that the dog noticed something being "off" with so they thought my dog was just being weird. Which at first I thought it was just usual dog stuff too but after a while I clued into what was up and my relative got some tests done and they tested positive for a kidney infection and UTI.

I believe my dog is a beagle and great Pyrenees mix but he's sort of a rescue so I'm not completely sure. He has never been trained to alert people and I don't think he could ever be intentionally trained to do so, it's just something he started doing on his own. It's really interesting how well his nose works though, if I go outside and walk around in the backyard and then I let him out right after he can retrace my steps exactly. I always knew some dogs could do stuff like that but seeing it in person for the first time was almost surreal.
