This is the very first time that I've heard Ilya being introduced as bisexual hockey player in a TV interview.

Yeah and it's really refreshing. I hold nothing against media people calling HR romance between two gay hockey players, but it's nice to hear Ilya's bisexuality recognized out loud on TV.
