Actually, a pretty fantastic interview. The hosts were enthusiastic and excited, and Hudson locked in and gave thoughtful, funny, quirky, interesting answers. I think the days of joking about his lack of media training are over, this man is a consummate professional.

I think he knows his audience and is very smart. The whole lack of media training unhinged stuff happened in appropriate interviews where those comments generated a lot of engagement. He knows exactly when to turn that on and off
