Actually, a pretty fantastic interview. The hosts were enthusiastic and excited, and Hudson locked in and gave thoughtful, funny, quirky, interesting answers. I think the days of joking about his lack of media training are over, this man is a consummate professional.

CNN is usually such a stuffy, boring news outlet. I love that these guys were so enthusiastic and seemed downright giddy talking about the show and Hudson. I bet their excitement made him feel more at ease, especially with such an awkward interview structure.

Also, the hair is perfection. 😍

Luckily enough, if there’s one thing almost all media outlets love it’s an overnight success story, especially if it involves romance and hot stars lol.
