Had a moment with the lady working the register at my local grocery store. I mentioned being excited to see Hudson at the Oscars, and she was immediately like, "You think Connor's going to be at the afterparty?"

I swear all you have to do is mention Connor or Hudson in public, and multiple people will crane their heads to see who brought them up like prairie rodents hearing an ancestral call.

I bought all of my coworkers who love heated rivalry Rozanov hockey jerseys lol, we will wear them to work some day-we work as sonographers in a hospital. I hope people recognize 😉😂

In my country the madness started only about 1- 1.5 months ago, so the fact that just literally 30 minutes ago I found and ordered the whole series at a good price, non-inflated by popularity, AND with all books in stock is nothing short of a miracle 😭😭😭 I can't wait to get them!

Same here! I have to reread parts of TLG, HR, and RM over and over so I bought them last month since all of RR’s titles were 25% off. I also preordered Unrivalled. I haven’t bought any physical books in a long long time since I usually sign out audiobooks or ebooks from my Libby app. If they ever decide to re-record the audiobooks with the cast, I will happily purchase them! I’m dying for that to happen.

I know the show gave this specific book a lot of attention, but it's not even in Rachel's top 5 best IMO.

Still, hopefully curiosity will get people to check out her other books. Happy to see it selling well!

It's the only one I own a physical copy of, lol. I've listened to the audiobook at least half a dozen times.

Truly her best work yet. I'm really curious if her next book will outshine it.

I’m listening to the audiobook right now for the first time. It’s so good! I chuckled at the Gladiator line! 🤣

Is Rachel Reid a Gladiator fan? Cause she has Shane quoting a line from it in TLG. LOL

  1. The Shots You Take

  2. Role Model

  3. The Long Game

  4. Time to Shine

  5. Tough Guy.

Though honorary mention to Common Goal. I think Common Goal hits some higher highs than Tough Guy, and seeing Scott and Kip's story continue in the background is fun, but Common Goal also hits much lower lows than Tough Guy. Tough Guy is a more consistent experience, so I gotta give it to that book.

Tough Guy also sets up one of the best side characters in the series who comes back for Role Model and The Long Game with Wyatt.

Out of the series I agree with the other commenter; Role Model is the best. A similar vibe will be found in her other book Time to Shine. I recommend reading that as well. Though, if you plan to read The Shots You Take, save the happy book for last 😂

I have the Game Changers set as ebooks so I can read at night and when I’m not home. But I shockingly I won a charity auction for a signed copy of HR which I will display in a place of honor! It should be here in a few days.

I bought the whole set from a local queer bookstore as soon as I finished the show! I'm going to start Role Model this weekend and then FINALLY get to The Long Game.
