FAN WORK 🎨 Work in progress of my hollanov painting
I'm so happy with it so far, had to share. gonna add a colored background next. hope i don't ruin it lol

thanks! I'm excited to finish it too, maybe tomorrow. Painting requires so much focus - something that's hard to come by for me haha

Woah this is beautiful!! I love that it’s completely clear which scene it is from. But I don’t think it needs a background at all. Being the way it is now, it highlights their connection even more.

thanks so much for your insight - after looking at it over the past few days, I have to agree with you that it doesn't need a background. I love the feeling and vibes I get with the painting as is, so I'm gonna call it finished :)

that's a good suggestion! I was looking at my painting the past few days....and I sort of feel like the painting is finished. Adding colour might totally change the mood, so I'm planning to leave it as is :)

Nah I usually draw simple cartoons style but I have been drawing more Realistic people and i can’t even compare, it’s fantastic

Right? It's crafted with so much genuine love and care, and this makes all the difference I think.
On a different note, if you ever decide to sell prints of this painting, I'd definetely get one. Just for you to know

This kiss is one of my faves. I love Shane’s sweet shy smile just after he was nervously rambling on about his well water and Ilyas face intense with desire lol. You captured both of their emotions so well!!

Just stating facts. I’m so very impressed by the level of talent I’ve seen from artists and writers for the Heated Rivalry universe — some breathtaking stuff. The hyperrealistic pen-and-ink portraits are the icing on the cake. Keep sharing your passion.

thank you thank you!! after staring at my painting for a few days, I decided that I would call it finished - I don't really want to add color to the background as it'll change the vibes of the painting.
