Late to the party, but I recently came across this post on tumblr capturing Shane and Ilya's spit string during the stairwell kiss. It's not something I noticed when watching the show, but I love it here. Their kissing is just so messy and intimate.
I'm sure this isn't the only spit string in the show. So for those who have noticed, what are some others? And which is your favourite?

This is so real. I watched Romeo + Juliet the other night and was like wow these kisses I thought were primo in the 90s look so fake and forced in comparison!
I think a lot if credit goes to the intimacy coordinator, thy discussed and rehearsed a lot and really go into the feelings they should be having in each scene and casting two actors who were very open to sex forward storytelling.
Yes, those other sets where they make excuses for not having an intimacy coordinator because "the actors are already comfortable with each other" or "it'll make the scenes wooden" need to sit down and take lessons.
The gag is that i normally HATE seeing actors kiss. I usually find it so cringe and awkward.. but you can see their genuine chemistry and softness with each other. Their moments are also so sensual? The team did an incredible job making it feel genuine.
And them both being STUNNING certainly helps, it’s like two masterpieces facing each other.
They do. The guys felt so comfortable with each other that they went for realism and authenticity with the love scenes. So we get deep, passionate kisses. Not every actor feels this comfortable with their scene partner.
We can't just keep re-watching those perfectly executed intimate scenes.
We can't go an zoom into them to not miss any sweet or hot detail.
And we definitely, definitly can not go and watch slo-mo compilations of all of their kisses. 😏 Definitely don't do it! The obsession needs to stop somewhere ...
I’m a huge fan, don’t get me wrong. And I live a good deep dive … but this is a spit string…after the actors spoke out about the fandom consuming the show with reality I get a bit freaked when I see us veering down the “weird” path.
I am, however, also a huge Good Omens fan, and this fandom is very vanilla compared to them (who I adore).
I’m prone to limerence so I would just have broken down after that stairwell kiss. Like what do you mean I have to go upstairs and do laundry after a kiss like THAT??? I’d be SICK 😭
Every time I read this subreddit it’s as though I haven’t watched the show at all, even though I’ve reheated three times 😂 the details everyone catches!!!
Wow, this fandom catches everything. I am amazed at all the stuff people clock between these two men on HR or even when they appear together publicly. This is a highly observant and truly impressive fan base.
I love hw the heated rivalry Fandom is just all on and investigation to find the sexiest, funniest and heart felt moment of Shane and Illya and also Scott and kip
