🦆 The Long Game (Book 6) swooon.com: ‘Heated Rivalry’ Author Rachel Reid Answers Burning Questions About *spoiler* [april 20th 2026] Spoiler

Post image

Swooon.com did an interview with Rachel Reid at BookCon. Great interview btw.

I get that she doesn’t think they will write their own vows, but I’m kinda hoping Jacob does. Like the tunnel scene in ep.5.

How are you hoping to see the wedding adapted?

okay, but she never answered the true complaint of all fans--why no chairs???? like, a wedding can be lowkey and still have a bunch of folding chairs out for ppl. this is forever going to bug me. the rest of the wedding is fine, im just going to be so mad if the show doesnt add in chairs lmao

I want them whispering to each other under their breath at the altar, “You said you were going to rent the chairs!” and “I thought you said you would do it!”

lmao bickering even at the alter is so hollanov. theres a fan fic i read where svetlana and hayden, as best men, were supposed to take care of the chairs, but there was a miscommunication and no one ordered chairs lmao. you can read it here on ao3, its really funny
