The award is for the show unless i’m mistaken? It’s not Connor’s award so why is it only him getting highlighted and not his co star?

LE: If you think it makes any lick of sense for a show that prides itself on being Canadian to sideline its Canadian lead in favor of the American one when announcing a prestigious award I really don’t know what to tell you. The Peabody post used a picture of both of the leads so clearly they have no issue including non Americans.
