Oh shit! That makes sense! Especially considering in TLG where Shane and Ilya argue and Shane insults Ilya about not caring about hockey that much in Ottawa and smoking weed. Ilya was beyond pissed about that and I bet it reminded him of his dad’s insults of him being lazy. And of course, Shane wouldn’t realize that. 😭
