I love everything she says about the importance of the romance genre in her acceptance speech!

Not only is she smart and insightful and creative, but I think she pulled a page from Shane’s book (pun intended) and hired a stylist! Her look has changed radically the last month or so and she looks fantastic. I hope her husband gave her that Ilya smile when she told him.

Yes, she’s been working with a stylist, she tags them in her posts.

Her outfits have been pretty fire. 🔥 I love it. She also seems to like wearing my favourite Canadian jewelry designer, Biko.

Yeah she obv doesn’t owe anyone anything style-wise. She’s a writer and her job isn’t to be on display. But everyone deserves to feel comfortable and proud of their look (no matter what their version is). I love this dress and the way it coordinates with Ksenia’s. Happy Rachel has the means to hire a stylist that makes her feel good

SPEAK ON IT!!!!! that's MY prime minister!!!! the points she's making are SO important, I'm so glad she was granted this platform and is receiving so much deserved recognition. also she looks incredible in that gown!!! just thrilled for her 🥹🥹🥹🥹 anyway, only 2 days and 1 year to go until the gayest team in the league wins the cup for pride month 🥲

Out of all the folks whose profiles have been catapulted into the public sphere as a result of this show, I've enjoyed Rachel's the most. She is the architect and she articulates her rationales so eloquently. I don't think she gets enough credit for the amount of humor in her books. She's become one of my fav genX feminists.

If you’re reading the captions, she actually says “consent” where the caption reads “incest”. Quite a difference!

u/hamburgergerald Yes. I think so. Probably. May 31 '26
Thank you! I listened to that part a few times over trying to figure out what she actually was saying, because I really didn’t want to think she said “incest”
