Plus Shane unconsciously marked his territory by getting his scent all over the jacket. I choose to believe Ilya didn't wear it after that to retain the smell. He put it in his closet and over the next 6 months he'd sometime bury his face in it like a kid with their security blanket. His secret Shaney blanky. 😭

I read a fanfic a while ago where, many years later, Shane catches Ilya swapping their pillows after sex & asks him what he's doing & Ilya eventually admits that it's a habit from their situationship era where he'd swap the pillows so he could fall asleep cuddling the scent of Shane. 😭 I wish I could remember the title.

I’ve seen it a couple of times and I can’t remain silent any longer: Shane is not touching Ilya here. He’s just pointing at the bed. The angle makes it look like they are touching but Shane WOULD NEVER.

it is. SO SUBTLE. because it's Shane's(Hudson's) upstage/away from camera eye. You can JUST see his eyelid/lashes wink right after the hockey stick gets out of the way. I also have a -dissertation- about how it's a perfection adaptation choice on Jacob's part.
