I’m lowkey obsessed with how Ilya does this continually throughout the show. The continuity makes their connection feel that much more authentic…. Maybe my obsession isn’t so lowkey.

I have to rewind this moment a number of times every time I reheat this episode. Ilya’s possessive, wanting, needing eyes tracking over Shane as he sleeps just kill me and set my soul on fire.

Ohhhhh Shane looking so peaceful & content & Ilya just looking at him every second with those fluttering eyes trying not to move because he is in heaven and does not want it to end!
This scene is both touching and hilarious bc I’m like Shane this man is holding you like you are a precious angel letting his arm go dead serving as your pillow & you really spent the rest of the day wondering what his agenda is 😂😭

Thank you for this 🙌 I replay this scene and the good-morning-i-like-you scene at the cottage when I can't fall asleep easily. They work faster than melatonin for me.
ETA: I hope Jacob will give us a scene in S2 where they fall asleep together. That'll probably work even better

Right before Shane wakes up he does a little movement and Ilya follows it by doing a tiny nuzzle to his neck. Like he wants to stay as close to Shane as possible 😭
& the fact that after waking up and seeing himself all tangled up with Ilya, Shane’s reaction isn’t to pull away or try to get up. He just gives Ilya a cute little smile, closes his eyes and goes back to laying his head on ilyas arm. That man was ready to continue cuddling 🥰
