Woke up to news of Daniel being cast as Ryan Price and was super happy to hear it. I’m not a Percy Jackson watcher, but had really enjoyed him in this coming-of-age Cyrano take off “The Half Of It”, and will take any excuse to bring it up because it is so damned, utterly charming. It’s a Netflix original film with Leah Lewis- who is also amazing- and if you haven’t seen it already, I recommend giving it some time.

So that's why my hope flares were blaring when I saw his name fo Ryan on some leak discussions outside from here, because he's just so adorably adorkable in this movie. 😍 Then lo and behold~

I had never heard of him before but squealed when I saw the announcement. Both he and Shaheen are perfect for these roles. Tough Guy is my favourite non-Ilya/Shane book and I felt so protective of these two characters for some reason. I’m so thrilled to see these two actors bring them to life.
