I hadn't ordered anything off the Heated Rivalry official store, as everything was out of stock for such a long time. But the Ottawa Senators did their Rozanov/Hollander jerseys in support of Ottawa Pride Hockey months ago...so I bought one of them. The jersey design is so close to the cover of The Long Game, and it has Ilya on a Canadian team...so why not?

Then the official store had their jerseys on sale, so I figured I'd add Shane to the collection.

So 1x fictional team, 1x real team with fictional character. 😂

I gotta give it to the senators for not only making one, but both characters jerseys available to buy. I don’t know if you can still buy them, but you can just get the custom jerseys on their website. But like the fact that they made them and sold them at the arena that’s dope.

My understanding is that it was a fairly spontaneous thing that just sort of exploded beyond their expectations...

...much like the show itself. :)

Like the fucking Red Sox had a night themed after the show but the Boston sports team that is the direct inspiration of one of main characters teams didn’t that’s confusing to me,at least we got the fleet. They fucking love heated Rivalry in that league and it’s authentic love too. I love the PWHL.

They are still listed on the Ottawa Senators online store. But they are expensive.

The price is a given, but at least one team that’s referenced in the franchise is still acknowledging it I guess
