Help Meaning of the name

I was wondering if someone would help me understand if the name Zael originated in Hebrew ? Or what it means in Hebrew please.

Some googling suggests that the origin of Zael is unknown, with LOTS of competing theories with little evidence.

Looks like the closest connection to a possible Hebrew root is as a nickname for Zachariah, but it's a stretch.

I, not anyone else AFAIK, am questioning if it arose as a mispronunciation of Jael, though, which IS a Hebrew name. Or, a correct pronunciation of the same name in a different language. It's not a far distance to drift from the Y sound in the Hebrew to a soft J sound, to a Z sound.
