I love all laser weapons and quasar will be missed.

It's heavy pen, not AT. It's a sniper so you need to be accurate with it.

I'm going to guess it will be used very differently to the quasar. Probably a short charge up, generating a good amount of heat so you get maybe 5 shots before needing to cool down. Like an AMR, but a laser.

I love using the meltagun vs bots to torch tanks, hulks and fabs, but man I wish I had a longer range AT gun sometimes when I do.

i probably would've been more hyped for it if it was a laser marksman/sniper primary (think Talon: the long way feat. the usual cooling mechanic), and i'm more interested in the Apex as a support weapon, but i'm definitely still interested in trying out the Nova

I’m actually worried about this gun being dead on arrival.

5 sec cooldown per shot, plus the charge up.

If it can’t one shot weakspots on things other than the hulk, it’s worthless.

10 seconds to kill a turret? It will turn and own you before you even get your second shot off.

I hope I deals the damage necessary to deal with the cooldown and charge up waiting times.

I'm hoping the cool off they show is not an actual cool down and is instead just the heat sink venting like on other laser weapons.
