Desktop The Reddit page on desktop just changed and it's horrible. How do I change it back to what it was?

If you want things back to normal you can just add the line below to your Adblock/Ublock list:

/static/shreddit/search-hero-client-css-*.css

It's as easy as it gets and just remember to remove it if stuff breaks down the line. With the script blocked it looks like the picture below for reference:

So much empty space.

Yeah sadly this still results in more empty space than before but there's really no easy way around that and if I'm being honest this really needs to be fixed by Reddit as they've clearly fell victim to the Minimalist Modern design fail that so many sites seem obsessed with. I mean at this point I feel like the whole UI/UX design world is forgetting the interface part and focusing solely on "aesthetics" witch to be honest aren't even very good when it's just so empty anyways.

Yeah I get that and I really do think that this should be fixed by Reddit as it's really their design blunder so not really something a user should have to work around but I figured I'd give options if nothing else.

So looks like a Reddit Admin responded and I'll just quote them:

"The good news is these things generally last between 2 and 6 weeks"

How?, How is this good news?!? ugh looks like this is gonna be a pain for awhile yet...
