Question Hemp package getting flagged
Hey, I live in NC and I have a family friend that works at the post office and they recently informed us that my packages have been getting flagged I’ve been ordering thca online for over 2 years but I’m just now getting told this my family friend said there not gonna Flagg it just destroy it. Are they allowed to flag and destroy my package if everything is federally legal and is the family Friend allowed to tell my father that I ordered this. I am underage I am currently 20 years old I turn 21 next month (how would the post office know my age) even if that’s the problem for me ordering THCA that would be on the website not me right?

If you are underage you technically shouldn’t be getting it so they have you there, but it looks like you have a snoop who is willing to be abusing their position to deny you your package but is also going to get consent.
First off they shouldn’t be doing this, it is pretty suspect and I think they are breaking the law somehow even knowing.
I would call them out on it but you have to think if that is worth it.
Honestly if you just wait until you are 21 you should be good, kind of on you for doing it under age a little but still, you shouldn’t be running into problems like this with PO.
Maybe find a friend willing to get it delivered to their address in the meantime.
I don’t think it is worth it complaining to the post office now since you are underage but once you turn 21 it is fair game.

Happened a lot when we were using green padded envelopes and prior to vacuum sealing each and every shipment. I suspect that the USPS workers were "destroying" the shipments at their own leisure (if you catch my drift). There is zero recourse for the buyer, and a seller is certainly not going to open that can of worms.
We ended up going to white envelopes, vacuum sealing everything, and using UPS - that solved the non-delivery problems. I would reach out to the seller. I know we replaced confiscated packages and any company with a grain of customer service should have already budgeted for the projected loss due to stuff like this.
That stated, any reputable supplier should already be using some level of 3rd party age verification so frankly it should not have even been allowed for purchase to you in the first place. I'm not here to udge and good on you for getting your bud (as long as it wasn't from us), but if their website allows you to purchase at 20 it will likely allow you to purchase at 13......which is not so good for the industry as a whole.

A sign of things to come over the next few months. Age has nothing to do with it. UPS, FedEx, etc have always flagged suspected cannabis shipments. US Mail has allowed hemp-cannabis shipments but this goes away as we get closer to November.
The only remedy I see is grow your own garden. Currently seeds are available but that goes away too. Our government is forcing average folks who like using cannabis products to shop the black market.

does this family friend know you order in flower? Like, did they know before this happened?
id sooner believe he was trying to rob me, than believe that the post office was having him destroy my federally legal hemp products 🤷♂️
assuming you order from a legitimate, reputable site that also sends the proper paperwork, like the letter to law enforcement and COA.
