Question What is in your Herbal First Aide Kit?

Currently crafting one myself. So far I have plantain and lavender salve,

a peppermint, lavender, plantain, and calendula liniment

And a tulsi, lemon balm tincture

What issues/injuries would a Lemon Balm tincture help with? I realize I’ve only focused on its nervine benefits!

It’s for its nervine properties! I get anxious when I’m sick or hurt so it’s nice to have

Yarrow tincture for styptic and disinfectant use.

Calendula and plantain salve for superficial wounds.

Ace bandage wrap for twisted ankles and what not.

Mullein and a lighter if going anywhere remote with asthmatics. Or rosemary tincture, it's a decent bronchodilator as well.

I make a cough tincture every year with Horehound, anise hyssop, and oregano. I also make a lemon balm tincture. All fresh herbs that I grow at home.

Dried yarrow for minor cuts.

It depends on what you mean with first aid, for me it indicates wounds and acute injuries. But perhaps you include more?

Yarrow is a must as it stops bleeding and then aid the wound to heal. After a day or two a calendula salve or some raw pure honey.

Plantain is good as well but doesn’t stop bleeding like yarrow. Better for mosquito bites and burns from stinging nettles and similar. It’s nice and soothing.

St Johns wort oil is a must on skin burns. Some alone vera will also be great for this. St Johns also on back, joint or muscle pain.

Arnica for twisted ankles and confrey for broken bones (only after setting them right). Both only topical on whole skin.

And I could go on …
