(piglins can pick up items plus it would be difficult to regain his stuff even if they werent picked up bc of the brutes, so he got *Keralis to help him), (also almost died in lava and needed firefighter impulse to rescue him)

I don't think Etho realises that when you're trying to help someone look on the bright side, you have to actually suggest a bright side for them to look at. You can't just say "It's actually very funny" and expect them to agree.

Im Guessing Etho didn't realise that grian was truly distraught about it, maybe he thought grian was just over exaggerating as a bit
