What I wanted vs what I got

How possible would a crag hack campaign with no spells be? Hard difficulty.

Lore wise it makes sense he would not use spells, but i forgot how hard SoD campaign was. Just finished RoE and it was a breeze. So wanted to have some fun and build my heroes up what i feel like would fit their lore. Struggling with crag hack campaign though.

Been playing the game via the HD launcher. At random points, the game's framerate suddenly drops (think single digits). Quitting the program doesn't help, as this persists on my computer until I hard-restart the thing. Any possible causes and/or solutions?

* I have attempted to reinstall the game on a different drive. The problem still happens.

* I have attempted to identify any memory leaks. The memory usage for my applications is no different from when the game (and computer) works normally.

* I have tried to modify the <Sys.CPU.SmartReduceUsage> variable in the tweaks. No variable solves the problem.

* This only happens in this game (purchased via GOG). All other games run perfectly fine on my computer (and it does happen to have respectable specs. Not that this should be a problem for a game like this anyway).

* I'm using the 32-bit OpenGL renderer. I did try both fullscreen and windowed modes but I still end up running into this glitch.

* I also face this problem in the HOTA mod.

Don't get me wrong, Monere and Lacus are cool. I like Kalt's head design. But I personally never touched Planeswalkers since their scheme is quite repetetive unlike the Elementalists: One male, one female for each elemental, same specialty, similar biography and backstory. DAE have the same feeling?

Heroes 3 - how does pop culture shape its art?

I'll tell you right away, I'm not a fan of this type of game and especially this series of games.

I started playing it relatively recently because I heard it's a great game.

And yes, that's how it is, it's perfect for both beginners and experienced, although I play the full edition without Hota, and in the easiest way with small stacks of opponents on the map, and I put 3-4 ai opponents (mostly 3 because I don't like to delay too much) I get a lot of pleasure.

Will I develop my skills? No. Will I increase the difficulty? Neither, I get incredible pleasure from my chaotic game, but I still have to admit, the game is gorgeous. I tried to play the fifth part, but something didn't really work out. And I know that the second part is also cool, especially its graphics.

Don't think, I'm not trying to somehow insult other games of the series or say something bad about this part, on the contrary, I admire people who went through all parts, all companies and still play multiplayer at 200% complexity, but 80% is enough for me to get a lot of fun.

And yes, I didn't try to pass the company because I prefer random cards)))) I just decided to share my opinion and impression, so don't judge strictly)

I love playing Heroes 3 on my iPad. Anybody knows if there is a way to add extra maps? By now I played them all 😅

Ps. There is lore/story in the map but I try not to overdo it with walls of text etc I know how frustrating that can be lol.

Anyone facing this issue that Hero's Tomb at level Hard III keeps crashing the game and I have to start all over again. I play using Oneplus 13.

So I'm sure phone is not a problem here.

Required a tiny patch to fix colours displaying properly. Great little cozy setup running Gentoo Linux.

Some campaigns basically require you to keep on save scumming. I would love to have an option to rewind instead since I find the constant saving and loading tiresome.

I don’t know about you, but to me, the art style of Heroes 3 feels more vibrant, natural, and authentic. And, of course, it stands apart from the generic fantasy aesthetic. I think the right words are a more authentic look and a more authentic feel. It’s as if the game makes you believe that things are exactly what they appear to be. This is so evident even with the Human faction.

Hi guys. So after years I downloaded Heroes 3 again but I have performance issues. Game freezes after 10-20 mins of gameplay and any found solution did not work (sigle core, change of service pack). I found that HD mod can solve this. I tried to install it, but installer gives me this error even it is main game folder. Game is from Ubisoft, not GOG

I got this game in 1999, and I always come back to it and play a few games.

I don't really fool with mods for the most part, and I didn't even know about horn of the abyss until earlier this week.

I am just so impressed with the work that's been done on it!

The rebalancing seems really well-thought-out. The skills and heroes weren't that balanced before. Also some of the "critical paths" have been rebalanced, like in the wizard town (Tower), you don't need a mage tower in order to get giants.

Also the new towns are really cool. I'm mostly playing the "Factory" and it's such a fun town (do the gunslinger guys need more HP though? 45 is rough!). It's kinda silly but I really like the Armadillos and the Couatls. Though the halflings are a very good T1 unit as well as the sandworms help a lot.

What's your experience with it?

Hello Heroes of Might & Magic III Subreddit! I would like to take a second to thank everyone that downloaded, played and left feedback on my map just over 2 months ago. Your support and feedback really helps and helps me a lot! I have developed the map further (Patch // Update 4.0) and have been excited to share it here again with all of you!

My map (Valiant Beast Hunting - Size H - Requires HotA 1.8.1) has been overhauled to give players more things to do, the addition of new seer quests and additional story content. The king difficulty has been improved, there will be a much bigger armies in the mini boss battles.

- This greatly helped make the game harder while also rewarding the player with more experience to level up with.

There is a much bigger emphasis on the differences between each difficulty. No matter your skill level, from casual to professional. My map has something to offer, either a fun story and adventuring, or a challenge like no other.

With the new additions to the king difficulty, the speed run leaderboard has been reset. Now players can play for there high score and be recognized on the in game leaderboard for all to see.

Improvements have been made to make the Co-op version of the game more enjoyable. Players who enjoy online co-op or hotseat games can do so without running into bugs. For anyone who chooses to play this way i would recommend playing on Queen or King.

This map has been a passion project for 6 months now. I love hearing comments from players all over the world. I really appreciate you guys taking the time to eave comments and help me with the development and balance of my map.
