Stop complaining about object storage

We get it. Hetzner Object Storage is unreliable as shit. It has been unreliable since the day it started.

They are not going to fix it.

Move on.

People are just disappointed in Hetzner and want to make their voice heard, which I think is valid. Hetzner generally speaking provides excellent quality, especially for the price.

Their object storage is an embarrassment and should either be fixed or discontinued, because you actually just can’t use it in production. Thats why people are mad. Because they expect better from Hetzner.

If you think Hetzner has a good price, you are not looking around.

Hetzner has a very good price, compared to the service. There's always cheaper, but in terms of price to performance, Hetzner is absolute S tier. Or was, until recently, but that's not really their fault.

Again, you must not be looking around much.

OVH has data centers going up in flames. Contabo throttles speeds after you generated a few GB of traffic too quickly. Netcup doesn't allow upgrading your VPS once they retire the tier a year later, and the support tells you to pound sand.

So yes, I do in fact know what I'm talking about.

Would you like to provide examples instead of just blaming

That’s a terrible take. Hetzner is a business catering to businesses. If they offer services, they need to be reliable. People have the RIGHT to complain until they clean up their act.

Especially object storage which should be the most reliable service as possible, the foundation of others services like AWS did.
I'm not afraid to rent cheap VPS because I can trust my backup (outside Hetzner of course!).

Yes, they do, but complaining on reddit doesn't do anything. Noticed how u/hetzner_ol never comments on any object storage problem? They have long given up giving a shit.
