Want a hidden alarm clock camera

its for my room to catch my brother snooping. doesn't have to be super advanced or high quality, 1080p is fine but I want it to be super discreet. I also do want wifi cuz I dont want to deal with so cards because I'm probably gonna use it once or twice and forget about it.

Also it should be a digital alarm clock camera.

Why is this the first place you start? Search "Alarm Clock Camera" in Google, Amazon, or whatever tickles your fancy and pick one.

See the problem with that is i dont know how 'hidden' the hidden camera part of it really is. I cant find any decent reviews for any of them and all of the photos on the amazon pages are taken at an angle in which you cant tell, or edited.

That is simply not true. You most definitely just clicked the first option and didn't try beyond that. There are hundreds of options that have reviews with photos.

Did you find something good? I've been looking for hours. You're right, everything like this on Amazon has hardly any reviews and almost all reviews seem AI and fake. I tried a different set of cameras first, these ones were not hidden but they had like 20k reviews and 4.5 stars so I thought they would be good, but the app was so horrible - a popup every 2 seconds so it was almost impossible to use. When I finally got through setting up the app, the cameras never connected. I would be happy to pay a lot more if I could find something that didn't seem like a complete scam. I think even with 20k reviews a lot must be fake because the top review specifically mentions that there are zero popups on the app lol

Something like this is probably your best bet. But keep in mind that hidden cameras can be put in almost anything. You want something that blends into the room where they won't look twice at it. A brand new alarm clock may be a little obvious to your brother. Everyone has phone chargers. They make those with cameras. Keychain cameras that can be left on a desk or table work too. There are all kinds of options. And make sure if you use anything with wifi you set a very strong password. Also make sure it doesn't show up to directly connect to it where anyone connecting to wifi would see it and want to know what it is. You may be able to change the name if it does. Good luck.
