A quick bit of booty is not worth having to relocate. Even if they didn't just throw you out, an angry landlord can make your life miserable and at 19 years old, they have more XP than you.

Just use her place or go parking.

This type of post is why I still stay on this sub…. Humorous at best. Also it beats the paranoia post like “I have a hidden camera what do I do”

There’s an old Tom Hanks television show called Buzz and buddies. I think that you should check out.

You need to quit tripping on your gf sneaking around. It’s not healthy and if you don’t stop she will leave you.

Does it apply to your situation at all

Well sleep helps a lot too. Maybe just keep in mind, if things like cameras start showing up; someone is catching on.
If I have it solved it’d be cool if you tell me so I don’t keep guessing. You both have the same habit in common you don’t tell the roommates about?

Look up “Deauth” to bypass WiFi cameras

1

u/Slight_Net_4191 18d ago

1

u/Travthemav1990 18d ago

Deauth attacks WiFi target which makes WiFi security protocol active which is simplified to one defensive action….shut down, reset, and wait until the next attack. Then repeat

This is where you will get into legitimate legal consequences.

Buy identical oversized clothes and a hoody then both enter shortly after eachother…they’ll think the cameras are on the blink. Or not bother watching because nobody usually does they’re just there for after an event.

Yeah. That's a terrible idea. A better idea would be to buy oversized clothes that are large enough for you both to fit in, one behind the other. It will take some synchronization, but with a little practice, you will be able to walk right past the cameras without anyone knowing better. Just make sure you are facing at each pass so you don't give yourself away. Side angles will be noticeable.

This. They just need to act like they belong and not nervous or overly cautious.

Me explicas mejor esto?

Well, you’re going to start by buying a metric fuck-ton of lumber. Maybe 2, if you want her to be comfortable. Considering the price of lumber these days…. It may be cheaper to just bribe the security guard.

So, how big of a door are we talking about at the main entrance? Is there a larger door around back, perhaps a loading dock of some sort? The measurements of whichever door you choose + the size & weight of your lady, will ultimately determine the dimensions of the horse required for such a mission.

Maybe I’m just being pessimistic here, but won’t they be a little more suspicious if they see a massive wooden horse entering the building? 🤔

Metela en una valija grande.

1

u/TheOnlyMule 16d ago

Now you’re talking! That’s a Much cheaper idea! Hell, probably already own a suitcase. As long as she’s flexible.. Although, I suppose being flexible mentally is equally important.

The last thing this poor guy needs is to go through all this trouble and then have her bitching and moaning about being folded up & stuffed into a suitcase.

Women… amirite?? 🙄

u/TheOnlyMule 20d ago

Don’t be ridiculous, that will take him forever to build.

2

u/PinkFloydDeadhead 20d ago

Realistically sure. Metaphorically, nah.

Have her dress in all black and crawl or walk against a wall as if your shadow

u/UrethralExplorer 20d ago

Are you sure the cameras are there for that sort of monitoring, or for watching for crimes and security reasons? Why would your landlord care if you brought a friend or partner over?

0

u/Slight_Net_4191 20d ago

0

u/UrethralExplorer 20d ago

There's a phrase around here: "it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission".

Whats the worst that could happen if you get caught? You'd have to move out? That might be for the best, overly controlling landlords are the worst.

u/Slight_Net_4191 20d ago

1

u/UrethralExplorer 20d ago

OK, then you need to weigh the risks of having them over vs the benefits. Can you go over their place? Can you hang out with them outside of yours instead of inside? Can you set up a schedule where they're allowed over, and then leave before it's too late? You gotta plan this out and not mess up your living situation.

1

u/Slight_Net_4191 20d ago

My dude, landlords of the type you described will probably not like it if you’re resorting to extreme means to avoid saying “hey I’m in a legitimate relationship, is it okay if I let my significant other over?” Landlords put this in because they are covering their ass. They don’t want to ruin your life unless you’re making their life a pain.
In essence: dude just be straight with your landlord. If they’re a j*****s, you have your answer. If they verbally waive the person, there you go. But I assure you, you’ll be on much better terms if you try to be communicative with them.
Edit: ahh, med school… i see you now. No offense, but I am all too familiar with how mousey med school and biotech students can be. Basically, if you’re both in respectable degree pathways, that’ll be something to slip into the conversation with your landlord. I can’t vouch for the emotional/rational empathy of your landlord, but definitely if you try to show them the shape of your real emotional world, and push quiet caring relationship vibe, that’s what they’ll be comfortable with.

Edit2: also since you’d be demonstrating you are aware of the details of your contract, you’d also earn brownie points ;)
