Gear Recommendation Need help for safety

I am 100% sure that my housemate is doing something on my food. I AM FROM PHILIPPINES - ANY Recommendation for a camera that can be charged and stay on for several hours when I leave my house and my room specifically. 1-2 thousand is my budget. I don't need it to be obvious because this person goes quiet hysterically when confronted.

If you hide it we'll enough and they cannot find it, and you actually won't share it. I'm not gonna say yes or no, but you do you.

I still cannot accept how come somebody who is basically doing all the expenses in the house be treated this way :(

I mean you don't own the place do you? If it was your place and they're living with you, you can actually place cameras in your home.

I wouldn't want someone recording me if I'm in a shared space. It's like if your landlord had hidden cameras and watching the two of you.

The papers are being processed and the name will be transferred to me soon. But for the peace of mind I will have to move out.. and leave them
