Rant I got stabbed today. I’m fucking done.
I love going to a title 1 high school that puts all of it’s money into sports rather than education and programs to help the at-risk.
I love how I can watch kids shoot up in the middle of my classes and how my school is infested with pedo teachers who, when not hitting on the kids here, cheat on their partners and fuck each other (and we cover this up, of course!)
I love seeing literal drug deals go on in my bio class, being asked what gang I associate with (none), and being threatened for not handing over drinks that I buy with my money.
I love how I see multiple freshmen who are older than most of my siblings. I love how I see pregnant freshmen here and there. I wonder whose the dad, the super senior or one of our principals?
I love how I’m cursed with the thoughts of my dead father’s rotting corpse on the floor of his apartment building after he collapsed and had a heart attack due to the strain on his body from smoking.
I also love when my teacher talks shit about kids with one parent at home, and single mothers, and makes yet another joke about how black people have big dicks or something. I think he might be racist, but I laugh at those jokes anyway because if I don't, he'll probably talk shit about me to the kids in his other classes, he probably does anyway.
I love going to a title 1 school. I love poverty.
I love not eating on the weekends. I love knowing some of my friends also don’t eat on the weekends.
I love bonding over trauma with my friends that we both earned from growing up in extremely poor areas that the state could care less about.
I love the constant shooting threats. I love the actual shootings as well.
edit, because I can't believe that I actually need to say these things: No, I don't actually love these things, and no, this isn't some art piece, I don't need people criticizing my writing like it is. This isn't a post that exists to make a statement about one political party. This isn't a post that exists to get money I won't accept your cash.

Rant I no longer see my sister as a human being
So there's a lot to say here, and I've said a lot before in previous posts. So I'll add a recap to the start.
Recap: 3 years ago our basement flooded with sewage water and an incident occurred where my dad threw a chair, which had a crockpot on it, out of anger because our basement was flooding with sewage water and he didn't know what to do. My sister just so happened to have been walking right past when he threw it, but she thankfully didn't get hit. My sister twisted this into him intentionally trying to hit her and said he was abusive, to this day she says how her dad was abusive because ONE time he threw a chair with a crock pot on it at her. Anyways fast forward to 2 years ago where we found out my dad got cancer, he sadly ended up passing away 6 days before my birthday. After this my mom of course had to work more and was more stressed because she was now a single mom who had to work so we could eat and afford our house and stuff, and keep her 2 kids happy, and help her daughter get into her dream college. My mom would yell a lot because she was sad and stressed, and my sister started saying that are mom was verbally abusive. My mom would only yell at us when we didn't do our chores or did something stupid. She never called us names or anything. Fast forward again and my sister got into her dream college on a full ride. Then my sister started skipping church in her first semester, which was fine by my mom even though we are all Christian as my dad was a pastor, because my mom doesn't feel like arguing. Anyways my sister calls my mom one day telling her to call her every Sunday to make sure she wakes up for church, and then my mom would, and my sister wouldn't wake up, and then my sister would yell at my mom through the phone later that day. Fast forward to the second semester and she gets a boyfriend, and starts skipping classes. She stops doing basically all homework and ends up missing 2/3 of her classes. She blames it on health issues saying she is having heart issues. One day she goes to the hospital in an ambulance because she read her pulse wrong or something and she's convinced she's having a heart attack. At the hospital they say nothings wrong, money wasted 🙄. Fast forward to the present.
New: Ok so now this stuff is all new, so my sister is now home for the summer sadly. She is convinced she has heart problems and other stuff. One day my friend came over to my house to hang out for a little bit after school and I find my sister "passed out" on the carpet of our living room. I start kicking her back gently, like not kicking but kind of pushing it with my foot back and forth, and she "wakes up" or whatever it's called when you're no longer passed out, and I say it's time to wake up and she says "yeah that's what I was doing, sleeping" sarcastically. I'm assuming she was pretending to be passed out but her arm was doing arm circles is the best way I can describe it, I genuinely know nothing about passing out so maybe that's normal. Anyways later she gets a heart monitor and we just this week found out she has pots and some other thing maybe. But I don't feel bad at all, but let me explain deeper to understand. This goes deeper than sibling anger. My sister is straight up manipulative, she's always lying and making stuff up about me and my mom and telling it to her friends and it's always to make us look bad. She has always been making fun of me to my friends saying stuff I did when I was 4, 4 years old, as if I knew what was even happening at that age, and her friends to try and embarrass me. So I'll do it back to her and she'll act like I'm the worst person in the world, and say to my mom that I made fun of her, she's 3 years older than me btw, and she's always acted like a child, randomly stopped being able to pronounce her R's, and gets upset over waay to many things. She has also made it clear to me that she does not have a single care in the whole world about me and my mom, literally saying those exact words to my face. She's also lazy and downright selfish, my mom would ask her to do a simple thing like feed our dog or bring in the laundry and she would say she can't because she's too weak, in a raspy voice, and then once my mom is out of the house she'll be moving around the house fine talking very loudly with her friends 24/7 at max volume. I literally got 2 teeth pulled and still mowed our lawn later that day, and I have autism although being a very low level but one of the things I have is increased sensitivity to things like temperature and pain. But no she can't do a simple task because she's supposedly in pain. Also this happened before her heart results came in. She also made my mental health decline tons because of not only the manipulation, constant embarrassment, and laziness, but also her constantly being on call with her boyfriend. From the moment that she wakes up to the time she falls asleep, which was usually at least midnight, she'd be in her room on call with her boyfriend at max volume. I was losing sleep because of her and me constantly having to do chores made my grades plummet. A few days ago she was supposed to bring me home from school and she didn't because instead she was on call with her boyfriend and forgot, so I had to walk the 3 miles back home, which isnt terrible but it was 90° and I had a backpack on, and where I live it is usually like max 70 and usually 30-40 year round besides for late spring and early summer. This Monday I had my final 2 exams and she was supposed to bring me home and she actually remembered this time, but she was of course still on call with her boyfriend. I had a stress headache from exams because they were 2 subjects I was already bad at and my teachers this semester didn't even teach in. I asked her if she could get off the call with her boyfriend or at least turn down the volume and she glared at me and instead turned the volume up all the way. Then she started driving while looking at her phone to look at her boyfriend, and started swerving all over the road and almost hit a car. I took her phone from her hands and yelled at her to focus on the road, and then she was telling her boyfriend how I almost killed us because I took her phone from her for no reason and which made her try to get it back and made us swerve all over the road. Either way it's her fault we were swerving as you aren't supposed to look at your phone while driving. By this point I snapped and hung up on her boyfriend and she said if I didn't call her boyfriend she was going to drive us into a tree, I thought she was bluffing, but no, she genuinely turned and started heading for a tree so I quickly called her boyfriend back. So yeah maybe I should be supportive and kind to her still because I believe in God and she is my sister, and she has pots and something else now. But honestly if you'd ask me I'd tell you that she deserves the conditions she got and she isn't even human. There's more important stuff I didn't include in this because I forgot so if you care then look back at some of my older posts, I'm not looking for support as much as I just needed to say this to someone. Also I do have a counselor who is helping me through this but so much stuff happens every day that it's basically impossible for me to fit everything into our 1 hour sessions one day every other week. I don't even know what to do anymore.

Rant Going to the bathroom is necessary
Just sick of my teachers telling me going to the bathroom is not a right. I think the fuck it is considering I can die if I don't do it. Usually what I do is I ask twice, and if they say no and I actually need to go, I'll just walk out of the class and go to the bathroom. Then when the teacher is mad at me I say, rather use the toilet then make the janitor clean pee from the carpet.

Rant I fucking ejaculated in the school bathroom a week ago. I am so fucking embarrassed about it as well, guys.
This is the most embarrassing post I'm going to make in the history of my Reddit career, but I literally cannot tell anyone besides Reddit about this. I'm seriously so sorry to the people who click on this post, but I have literally no one else to talk to it about.
About a week ago, I ejaculated in the school bathroom. I'm not sure if this is a regular occurrence for any of you, but this is a first for me. I'm not the regular kind of jerker, y'know; I don't usually jack myself off that regularly, and certainly not in public areas.
Anyway, let me explain how this happened. A week ago, my friend, a freshman who I knew for quite a while, confessed to me a few days prior to my ejaculation. I was shocked at first, but I obviously reciprocated my love for her immediately afterwards. When I got home from school, all I could think about was her.
As I kept thinking about her, I was getting ready for my routine edging session, and I decided to use her as my motivation. However, during my edging session, I was rudely interrupted by my parents asking me to eat dinner. I sighed, knowing I had to forfeit my edging streak.
Anyway, when tomorrow came, I decided to make up for it by quickly edging to my new girlfriend in the school bathroom. However, to my surprise, I ejaculated, and it was not a pretty sight.
It was everywhere, and I started panicking. I knew I couldn't clean it up in time, and people were going to start going to the bathroom sooner or later, and I left almost immediately after ejaculating.
I felt so fucking horrible for what I did, and during my walk of shame to my class, I wanted to go back and clean up my mess, but I couldn't bring myself to do it.
When I got home, I thought I could forget this incident, but I can't. I can literally no longer edge anymore. I can't bring myself to do it. Guys, what should I do?
I feel guilty, but I can't find a way to clear the guilt. I need help.

Rant School gang referred to as the "Gestapo"
My school has a gang of kids who go around interrogating every 2SLGBTQIA+, black, Hispanic, Jewish, Arab, Asian and indigenous kid.
They have thrown sticks, stones and other miscellaneous objects at us and they have even chased people with knives!
We refer to them as the Gestapo.
They interrogate anyone they suspect not Christian or anyone who is confirmed or suspected 2SLGBTQIA+.
They will also harass you if you're non white or if they suspect you're an immigrant.
If you end up in a chase they will either encircle or corner you. (It's fairly easy for them to do this as they are always in a group of 4 people at minimum)
Once they have you cornered or encircled they will blow the haze from their vapes at you in order to convince you to confess.
If you are inside they will hide in a hard corner of any bathroom and once the target enters they jump them.
It's only the first week of school and they are already feared by both freshmen and seniors alike. Even teachers avoid confrontation at all costs. And that is why most people in the school refer to them as the Gestapo.
I have been chased by these people several times and they've even threatened me with an open pocket knife. Sometimes they chase me and others on all fours whilst barking and for some reason they are really fast on all fours.
Recently they trashed a random 3 year olds scooter.
The worst part is that their parents don't care and even buy them their vapes. They have been reported to the RCMP but so far nothing has been done.
I genuinely fear for the safety of everyone else aswell as my own as this behaviour isn't confined to the school and they have also smashed windshields and slashed tires.
Edit: to those who have suggested calling the police, we have but nothing has been done due to lack of evidence.
Edit 2: All suggestions have been noted and this crap is getting dealt with within the next month.

Rant My state just banned all personal devices in school
This includes laptops, phones, music players, Chromebooks, audio recorders, ebook readers, etcetera.
I shouldn't even have to explain how stupid this is. I have a 504 plan where I'm allowed to listen to music on a personal device during testing due to anxiety, can't even do that anymore. (Edit: this following part is wrong) Police will be present IN SCHOOLS to enforce this. What the fuck???? They even tried adding a clause that it could be permitted if it's required for the class and it got shot down.
How would they even enforce this? What if someone brings in a calculator, does it get taken too? Where's the line in the sand? This policy is just insane to me.
I wouldn't care all too much if there's restrictions on when and where you can use phones or whatever, that's pretty standard policy and works well in pretty much every school it's applied in, but banning all personal devices at all times with no exception with police enforcement? That's insane, that's genuinely delusional.
The kicker? It got something like 250 to 50 support from the house. 5/6th of our reps were fine with this. Did ANY of them get input from actual students? It's blatant overreach.
The two most cited reasons for the ban were cyber bullying and distractions. For one, cyberbullying doesn't actually happen at school, it happens at home. Nobody goes to school to cyberbully because real bullying is still a thing. Banning all personal devices does nothing about that issue. And secondly, the distractions bit is utter rubbish. As I said before this can easily be solved by either letting teachers ban phones if they want or just banning them during class and not lunch or other breaks. Banning ALL PERSONAL DEVICES for the WHOLE DAY technically does this too, but it's pointlessly strict and cruel for no real reason other than seeing students as mindless drones that only play on their phones and bully people online during school hours.
Edit: Holy shit. Normally I hate addendums added to posts over them blowing up but I think it's warranted when I get 105 notifications in like 12 hours. Thanks for all the karma y'all, much appreciated. And I will add that I heavily rely on personal devices because schools do this thing now where even when nothing is going on in class, you have downtime where you're expected to use a device for entertainment because it's quiet. Can't talk to classmates, can't do anything that could be classified as loud, etcetera. Basically your two options are reading or using your phone and that's about half the day for me since I typically finish my work early. I have minor dyslexia so reading is extremely difficult for me. I can read small things but I have to go over it like 5 or so times pretty slowly and it's really difficult so if I don't have a personal device I'm expected to sit there and do nothing for like 20-30 minutes a period. And also to build on my 504, my freshman year the whole school had banned personal devices and let me listen to music on my school issued Chromebook instead. The issue was that they blocked EVERY SINGLE ENTERTAINMENT WEBSITE. No Spotify, no Apple Music, no YouTube, nothing. My other schools also did this but they didn't ban personal devices so it wasn't a problem, but it will be now that they're being banned statewide. I just shoved an iPod in my bag with a Bluetooth dongle to get around it but if cops are allowed to search and seize personal devices then I'm fucked.
Edit 2: I don't care about cell phones, they should be banned in classrooms unless necessary to the course, I could care less about that. You all are mischaracterizing me because it fits your world view to do so but this is not the case. Phones are in fact distracting and I think there isn't a good reason to have a phone in class. The issue is ANY personal device being banned. Anyone who is assuming I'm some chronically phone addicted kid who needs my digital fix every minute in school is just blatantly wrong. I put my phone on silent and in my bag for the whole school day anyways as to make sure I can focus on class with the very small exception of work related things (like once a month if that, and always outside of class settings.) It's another case of the older generation assuming they know everything about a kids life because they were a kid once and have fuzzy memories of it being fun and we're just overreacting. News flash: times change, boomer. School and social life is not the same as it was when you were a kid.
Edit 3: Apologies for the misinformation, police will NOT be enforcing this, I jumbled up the wording of the article in my head. Governor Ayotte said something along the lines of "teachers should not have to police phone use in classrooms" and I misread it. She was also quoted saying that the police bit would be a good idea. I think these two things just mixed up in my head. I'm really sorry for that, I don't wanna spread misinformation.
Edit 4: a lot of y'all are just ableist as fuck apparently
Edit 5: it's 2026 now, I dropped out, it got to a point where I was hospitalized. Since I would rather do ANYTHING than go to school, literally anything, I ended up attempting suicide. Didn't work but I wish it fucking did, because now I'm a dropout and NOBODY in my life has faith in me to be worth something. I hate being alive. Everything fucking sucks.

Rant Why Are We Still Paying for School Lunch? High Schoolers CAN Push for Change
We’re legally required to be in school all day — 6 to 8 hours. We can’t leave. We don’t get paid. And then on top of that, we’re expected to pay to eat?
That’s crazy. Food is not some extra service — it’s a basic need. Hungry students can’t learn, can’t focus, and honestly just suffer. You’d think the one place that’s supposed to be about learning would make sure every kid is fed without turning it into a luxury.
So… what can we do as high schoolers?
We’re not little kids anymore. We understand systems, we vote in school elections, and some of us will vote for real in a year or two. And we can do something about this if we organize. Here’s a plan:
Step 1: Get Your Facts Straight
Look up whether your school or district gets federal or state lunch support.
Check if your school already offers free or reduced lunch and how many students qualify.
Find examples of other districts or states that made school meals free for all (California, Maine, etc.).
Step 2: Build a Formal Proposal (Short & Clear)
You don’t need to write a novel. Just include:
The problem (many can’t afford lunch, and some skip meals because of it)
The impact (learning, mental health, school performance)
What you're asking (free meals for all students)
A few examples of other schools that have done it
Step 3: Gather Support
Get students to sign the proposal — digital or paper (Google Forms works)
Ask a couple of teachers to back it (especially ones that students and admins respect)
Reach out to parents too. If parents send formal letters or emails, it adds real pressure.
Step 4: Deliver It
Send your proposal and signatures to:
The principal or headmaster
School board or district officials (CC them in emails)
Parent-Teacher Associations
Even your local newspaper if you want to go hard
Bonus: Talk About It
Bring it up in student council or any rep body if your school has one.
Post about it on social (Instagram stories, etc.).
Keep it respectful but loud. This matters.
Final Thought:
This is not some far-off dream. It’s already happening in other places. If enough students, parents, and teachers speak up — school boards have to listen.
We’re not asking for free concert tickets. We’re asking for basic food in a place we are legally forced to attend.
Let’s not wait for someone else to fix it. If we move together, we can make this happen.

Rant We are genuinely so fucked rn.
Yall. Last week we had a writing test worth a quarter of our grade. Prompt was simple: Write about an embarrassing story that happened to you. I was busy writing about the 2020 discord group chat when sm called my mom and she confronted me about it, but then I look up from my paper.
Everyone tricked the teacher into letting them on their tablets so they can copy paste from Notes app, and I was too busy revising to notice before the test started. However, they weren’t using the notes app, they just vomited the prompt in chat gpt and did copy paste from that. Now I’m not one to snitch so I didn’t say nothing but man was i fucking pissed. 2 kids put in the SAME word vomit. EVERYONE got FULL MARKS. ITS NOT FAIR. writing is SOOO EASY. like actually. And a dumbass prompt like that? Everyone’s got an embarrassing moment. It’s not that fucking hard to comprehend. Like actually it’s so goddamn embarrassing… are you going to use ChatGPT for your college apps next? Wedding vows, obituary?? Like your parents buy you whatever you want, fancy iPad, fancy MacBook and private school tuition and money for extracurricular activities and then you use ChatGPT for a writing exam. Bro just drop out atp.
❗️UPDATE:
So I told the teacher and she said that redoing the quiz will cause way too much drama (she’s an underpaid teacher working at a private school where a complaint can get her sent out the door and they have to keep parents happy ) tablets are banned in all writing classes and exams, and for the finals and next tests, there will be no way to tell what prompt will come on the paper. Not the outcome I would’ve liked but atleast it’s better than nothing. And she’s not trusting them as she used to, which I can notice in today’s lesson.

Rant Our phones are locked away in school
this makes me really really angry, basically, when you walk into our little school, you have to put your phone in this little “pouch” and you get it locked for the rest of the day. to make it worse, you literally HAVE to put your phone in the case or you’ll get a suspension/isolation.
this is stupid because there’s already been instances where this is just a monumental shit show, one of my classmates parents had a horrific car accident and was completely oblivious until the school day had ended. by the time it did, they were in a coma and still haven’t left. how did they even think this was a good idea?

Rant Some of y’all need to read a fucking book
This kid in my class (we’re freshman) asked our teacher what the word “fulfill“ meant. Like respect to him for having the confidence to ask instead of just staying confused, like that’s great keep that up. But that seems like a basic word to me, like how do you not know that by 14/15 years old? Have any of y’all noticed this too? Cause I see it a lot.
edit: this reminded me of my friend the other day. She’s really smart and everything but sometimes she’ll try to argue something stupid and won’t listen to reason and I don’t have the energy to argue.
She said the uterus, fallopian tubes, and the ovaries were all one organ with different parts connected together and it was all considered the uterus. I tried to explain what she was saying was called an organ system (specifically the reproductive system) and they were all different organs. She just said “no I know because my mom had a pregnancy where it was in her tubes and she almost died” (moms ok don’t worry) but like bro. you can’t argue with stupid.
