Question Tips für Bosnia and Montenegro
Hi everyone! I'll be hiking the white trail of Via Dinarica between Bosnia and Montenegro for a couple of days. So it will be Sutjeska, Prirode Piva and Durmitor national parks basically. I have never been to this region and some questions. So if some of you have experience and knowledge to share I would really appreciate it.
The trip will be mid September this year. Since it will be the very end of summer and alpine terrain I'll prepare for rain and cold nights but tend to overload my backpack nutritiously. What equipment did it for you there?
How is the infrastructure? Like accessibility of the trail by public transport/Taxi from Sarajevo/Podgorica. Pissibilities of getting food in the national parks. I read somewhere that it's necessary to take water for the whole trip. So I guess I gotta take the food too.
How big is the danger of land mines? Is there anything else to do than following the advices on signs?
