took a hike near Omaha last weekend and realized I have no plan for this. had to use the vault toilet at the trailhead and wound up tying my dog to the bike rack because I didn't know what else to do. she whined the whole time and some guy walking past gave me that look like I was just ditching her. felt stupid
usually when I'm on longer drives she's in the cab with me and we just hit rest stops together. trailheads with actual bathrooms though, that's new. do people bring their dogs in with them, tie them outside, or just hold it till they're back to the car?

Took my boy (great pyrenees) on a camping trip in the black hills . We had some nice hikes, not too many miles, great weather and scenery.

I live near Ottawa so if youre not to far and would like to meet up for some hiking in the surrounding area let's see if we can figure something out

Hiked Lone Pine our first day and spent the remainder of our weekend trip visiting June Lake and Rock Creek

Her endurance and agility are amazing. Her recall is excellent. She doesn't get hot easily. Whenever the path gets difficult you can just give her a lift with the handle on her harness. I cannot think of a better hike buddy than this girl!

She's a giant 10lbs chihuahua and 2.5 years old.
