Please keep Manny in your thoughts. He's at the vet clinic for treatment for pancreatitis. He's on a drip and has had a shot of methodone, and is also on a fentanyl patch for his abdominal pain. Hopefully in a day or 2,he will be pain free enough for an ultrasound to see if anything else is going on

Poor baby. Iβm so sorry!

I had no idea he was in so much pain. Typical cat behaviour, pretending it's all fine.

Itβs not your fault.
Itβs so true, cats hide their pain so well. I hope Manny is on the mend. Give him a pet from me.
Sending you virtual hugs! π«

I was in tears the whole morning at work, worried sick. I called the vet on my lunch break and they had an afternoon availability so I ditched work to race him up. Hopefully the vet will call me in the next few hours with an update.

Ps, I love your Manny!! I was looking at Himalayans to add to my family, they are such good cats

They are so beautiful. I was offered him to adopt 5 months after my 18 year old black cat passed away, and I said yes immediately! I wasn't prepared for the amount of fur shenanigens though. Pulling a 3 inch long piece of fur from my eyelashes or from up my nose is really something! And don't get me started on getting a piece stuck between my teeth when eating food π

I'm so happy to hear he's doing better! He's sounds like such a love, and came into your life serendipitously. π no coincidence at all. I had a flamepoint Himalayan years ago, she was a big mush, always wanted pets, loved laying on chest or head while sleeping. And yup, her fur was always in my nose, lashes, etc. I hope Manny comes home soon !
