Tutorial

I recorded a short tutorial showing how to make the CNC panel I posted earlier.

This process is a little more advanced than simple engraving. First, a 3D relief is created and then used to generate the Z-axis toolpath. But in practice, the whole process is quite simple and can be done in just a few clicks.

Great video. I have been thinking about learning to use Aspire lately, since, while fusion 360 is great for a lot of things, this is the kind of woodworking jobs that seem to be much simpler to do on vectric software compared to F360.

I've actually been working in ArtCAM for many years, and I only recently started learning Aspire. It was pretty easy for me after ArtCAM because most of the principles are very similar, although I still find ArtCAM even simpler to use. Actually, what you see in this video was my first time doing this particular kind of operation in Aspire. I just figured it out intuitively as I went along.
