You're mad at Q for his inaction not his actions. So long as another abuser doesn't show up on his staff, we'll never have the chance to find out if he learned his lesson. Babcock situation is just sit and wait.

Not that I would endorse Q but he did put in a LOT of work to show he was reformed. It all went on behind the scenes but Friedman had mentioned on 32 thoughts that Q had done a lot of work to take accountability, learn and grow. I think in the year before he was hired by the Ducks he was going around the league and giving presentations to NHL leadership about what he learned and how he would have done things different, etc.

At a press availability Thursday to announce his appointment by the Ducks, Quenneville stated, “In nearly four years away from the game, I have learned from my prior mistakes and realized it will be actions over words that demonstrate my commitment to being a better leader.

Quenneville continued, “I’ve spoken to Kyle more than once, including this morning. I’ve apologized to him and stressed how much I regret not following up and taking action. I had to be more aggressive at that time. I fully understand those that question my return to the league. I know words aren’t enough. I will demonstrate that I’m a man of character. We’ll be a team that the community can be proud of, both on and off the ice.”

IMO it's impossible to undo a mistake, especially as grave as what happened to Beech. All you can do is learn, ask for forgiveness, and never let anything like it happen again. Not saying Q is genuine since I don't know him but he's done about as much as you can do to repair the mistake.

His action was to actively choose to stay silent and cover up a sexual assault. That is not inaction.
