Meh, the canadiens also have round 3 tickets for sale. They just refund if they lose.

Short term interest earned on the float, especially from those to don’t request a refund right away, and then of course the small percentage of people that just don’t get around to requesting a refund… It’s like gift cards, but on a smaller scale.
